The set depicts a reconstruction of a medieval ship’s boat used aboard carracks and galleons. A characteristic feature of this vessel is the absence of a transom stern, which sets it apart from later auxiliary boats of the 17th–19th centuries.

The model is a faithful replica of the real structure, made from wooden, laser-cut parts, which gives the whole piece a high level of precision.
