Gaahleri Kaleido KT201 is a dedicated thinner for acrylic paints from the Kaleido RapidAir™ series. This is not just ordinary water or a universal liquid – it is a chemically tailored medium that unlocks the full potential of RapidAir™ technology, ensuring a perfectly smooth model finish.

Key features of KT201:

• Smooth flow without compromise: Reduces paint viscosity, allowing painting at very low pressure. This is crucial when you need to bring the airbrush close to the model to paint fine details without causing “spidering” (splatter).

• Eliminates tip dry: Contains drying retarders that prevent paint buildup on the needle tip. This allows you to work longer without having to constantly clean the airbrush tip.

• Smooth, even surface effect: Supports RapidAir™ technology, helping the paint spread into a uniform, thin layer. This is essential with metallic paints so that the metallic flakes lie flat and shine like real copper or steel.

• Transparency control: allows the paint to be safely diluted to a semi-transparent consistency. Perfect for shading wood, creating tonal transitions on sails, or applying color filters.

• Safe formula: Odorless and non-toxic. It does not alter the paint’s chemical properties or reduce its adhesion or scratch resistance.

Instructions for use:

• It is recommended to add the thinner drop by drop directly into the airbrush cup.
