This is a model of the famous Dutch ship of Admiral Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter (1607–1676).
The De Zeven Provinciën model was built to an approximate 1:72 scale, based on available historical sources. It consists of a laser-cut keel and bulkheads, full single planking made from a combination of walnut and limewood or oak and limewood, a fully equipped deck, three-dimensional hand-cast resin ornaments, masts, and complete rigging.
The sails can be ordered separately as a DIY kit, including drawings, instructions, sailcloth, and pulleys. The model is fully armed – all gun ports are fitted with complete cannons. The set also includes one auxiliary boat.
Difficulty level: 4 on a scale of 1 to 4.

NOTE: The model comes standard with a simple stand and does not include sails. The exclusive oak stand and sail set can be ordered separately.
