OLFA ASBB-10 Blades

Compared to standard AB blades, the black ABB blades feature a reduced sharpening angle and an increased sharpening width. As a result of these changes, the initial cutting performance of ExcelBlack blades proved to be 25% higher than that of standard OLFA (silver) blades, and nearly twice as high as blades from other manufacturers. As a result, ABB blades are ideal for professionals and anyone carrying out work that requires a perfectly smooth cut edge. Ideal for cutting soft materials such as cardboard, rubber, polystyrene foam, cork, leather, paper, etc.

Segmented blades are scored at a 59° angle to match the hand’s natural cutting position, while also making it easier to snap off the segments. The 59° angle established by OLFA has become the international standard for snap-off blades.

ATTENTION

OLFA blades are extremely sharp. Take extra care when cutting and replacing the blade. Used blades can also be dangerous—before disposing of them, secure them using, for example, the containers in which new blades are supplied, or use special DC-2 and DC-4 containers.
