The 17th-century Statenjacht (Statenyacht) was—despite what the name suggests—not a leisure yacht, but a working vessel. It evolved from the war yachts used during the Eighty Years’ War, becoming a convenient, fast, and above all comfortable means of transport.
The model was made at a 1:50 scale. Once assembled, it measures approx. 50 cm long (including the bowsprit), 20 cm wide, and 52 cm high (without the stand).
The Statenjacht kit is complete – it includes laser-cut frames and deck structure, full walnut planking (single-plank-on-frame system), a sail set, and two cannons.
Difficulty level: 2 on a scale of 1 to 4.
Dimensions of the assembled model:
length approx. 50 cm,
width approx. 20 cm,
approx. height 52 cm.
NOTE: The model comes standard with a simple stand. Ekskluzywny stojak dębowy, widoczny na zdjęciach, można zamówić osobno.
